Hong Kong Chapter Alumni Association Update
A quick update from Liz Liang '04 about our Hong Kong-based alumni community

In 2023, the HK Chapter Alumni Association continued to grow, finding ways for alumni to gather in Hong Kong.
Some key highlights:
We were excited to have welcomed Dee Mulligan and Joanne Brown to our HKIS board! As faculty representatives for the HK Alumni Chapter Board, they are key to ensure we cultivate stronger ties between alumni and the school.
Our Summer Alumni Drinks continued, where we welcomed alums spanning from the class of 1985 to 2016. As always, the night was an opportunity for alumni to network and reconnect.
We hosted a Sunday morning hike, where a team of alumni took a walk along the Deep Water Bay Seaview promenade. We were blessed by beautiful weather and hope to do more of these activities to bring together alumni and their family in the new year!

Looking ahead to 2024, it’s a big year for the HKIS HK Alumni Chapter! There are some exciting activities in the pipeline, but the most exciting one is the much anticipated HKIS ALUMNI PROM! Yes, you heard it right — this year, on June 8, 2024, we will be hosting our first ever Alumni Prom in the High School Gymnasium. It will be a night of fun, nostalgia, and an opportunity to reconnect with old classmates and faculty alike! Sign-up will be first come, first serve, and will be open in February.
