Dear HKIS Community,
I’m so incredibly proud of the Class of 2021. The last two years of High School can be intense at the best of times — students dive deep into their classes, take on more responsibilities to contribute to our community, find and explore their passions, and prepare for life after high school. The Class of 2021 has done all this with the backdrop of the protests of 2019-20, which overlapped with the coronavirus pandemic. They have had to adapt overnight, in school and outside of school life, and they have done so with grace, resilience, and a sense of humor. We are incredibly proud of these students.
This Graduation 2021 mini issue highlights some of the celebrations of our last few weeks of school. I hope that it gives you a glimpse into the celebrations of each and every one of these impressive students. We wish them the very best, and are thrilled to welcome them into our alumni community. Go Dragons!
