This year, the Booster Club was proud to play an important role at Community Day, the momentous grand opening of the DCAA.
To celebrate this milestone, alongside Torch we led the Athletes’ Parade. Our athletes entered through the Booster Club-sponsored Torch Tunnel, cheered on by the HKIS community with flags and plenty of Dragon pride. To boost Dragon spirit, Booster Club volunteers distributed face stickers, cooling towels, and flags throughout the day helping to create a memorable celebration of the DCAA marking an exciting new chapter for HKIS Athletics.

Throughout the year, we surprise and delight students with special treats and spirit-building activities, from snow cones and ice pops to hot chocolate, popcorn, game-day refreshments and performance snacks. Torch, our much-loved mascot, is also a familiar presence, sharing smiles, hugs and high-fives wherever students gather.
Our impact extends beyond these joyful moments. Through the Dragon Shop, the HKIS community can conveniently purchase uniforms, school supplies and spirit wear. Every dollar raised is reinvested directly into the school, benefiting students across all divisions.
This September, we proudly reopened the newly renovated and refurbished Dragon Shop, welcoming students, parents and the wider HKIS community into a refreshed and inviting space. More than a retail destination, the Dragon Shop is a community hub where families can connect, celebrate school pride and experience the Dragon Spirit together.
