Another year has passed! In our 8th year as the Hong Kong Chapter, 2025 was full of gatherings and reconnections with the school. We kicked off with an event featuring Ron Roukema, who shared updates on the school's development. We also hosted events focused on fintech and crypto, as well as an art and wine night for networking. Our holiday happy hour welcomed alumni from all decades.

We were thrilled to hold our second annual golf tournament with Chinese International School, where HKIS won! The event raised nearly HK$50,000 for the school’s Black Kite scholarship program, benefiting talented students.

Looking ahead to HKIS's 60th anniversary next year, we anticipate more opportunities to connect and unite alumni!

The London Chapter celebrated its third year as an active platform for HKIS Alumni to gather, rekindle old friendships, and meet new people with ties to Hong Kong. We have continued to organize formal and informal meet-ups, but a recent highlight was definitely our Spring Alumni Event, organized by the HKIS Alumni Office. One of the most welcome developments of the London Chapter is that its membership no longer solely consists of HKIS alumni– girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and wives all frequently join events, demonstrating that we have helped create a real community here. The Chapter is looking forward to welcoming new university students to the UK this autumn, with us grizzled veterans (we are now closer to 30 than 20!) eager to serve as a resource for Hong Kongers adjusting to life in the UK's capital.

In 2025, the Singapore chapter was proud to reconnect our members with a string of events. We also welcomed new faces and look forward to welcome new members into our growing community.

Looking ahead, we are excited to build on this momentum in the coming year, and we look forward to our year-end get together in November.
