Powerful.
Immediate.
Essential.

When you think back on your time at HKIS, you may think of the great opportunities, interesting classes, or the world-class facilities that were available to you as a student. Or, maybe it was many of the inspiring teachers you had along the way. Fulfilling these essential educational standards requires a significant investment, and this is where the HKIS Annual Fund comes in. Gifts to the annual fund make a powerful impact on the daily lives of our students and teachers. They allow us to provide essential resources and innovative programs that enhance and elevate the student experience. And, it gives us the ability to attract and retain the best faculty.

Since all donations are used in the year they are received, it allows us to address immediate and unexpected needs that may arise. We are truly grateful for the support that we receive from our community, our alumni, parents, staff and faculty. Many things are made possible at HKIS because of you. If you would like to make a gift, please click here or visit our website for more information.

Why We Give

1

"I am lucky to be both a proud HKIS alumna and parent P’20, P’21, P’23. While I only attended HKIS for two years, it was a formative time in my life. Not only are my high school friends and classmates some of my closest confidantes, I have made other close friends through the HKIS alumni network. We have celebrated weddings and reunions and also mourned the passing of classmates, parents, and teachers. As a parent, the student experience is also elevated by our strong sense of community. PFO events like the Pumpkin Festival or Booster Club events like Friday Night Lights help to bring us together. The Annual Fund also helps to bring us together so that HKIS can continue to provide students and families a well rounded education grounded in the Christian faith. This was easy to see during the pandemic as the Annual Fund helped to provide safety materials and technology resources, all so that our students, faculty, and staff could return to campus safely.

While it’s easy to see the tangible evidence of what the Annual Fund supports, I support HKIS so that our children and the next generation of alumni value our unique and special community just as I do."

"Whether it is in or out of the classroom, HKIS has provided me with life-long memories, lessons and friends. By donating to the HKIS Annual Fund, I can help HKIS continue to dedicate educational excellence with a difference, emphasizing compassion.

Through alumni events and meeting people across different classes, I am proud to see that alumni from all classes are coming together to create a community. I hope to see this community grow throughout my lifetime and encourage alumni to give back to the school so that HKIS can continue to develop students to give back to society!"
