I share my experiences as a senior navigating applications, followed by insights from my school counselor on effective strategies and common challenges. Together, these viewpoints highlight both the personal and practical sides of applying to college.

On Dragon Day, guest speaker Chris O' Shaughnessy came to HKIS to talk with high school students about what it means to be a Third Culture Kid, the importance of empathy, and the art of storytelling.

On October 30, 2023, renowned author and guest speaker Charles Vogl visited HKIS to engage with high school students, parents, and faculty. Charles is widely recognized for his expertise in community building- having developed leadership programs globally and written books, such as “The Art of Community.”

For the first time in three years of virtual and hybrid events, the whole school gathered in the High School to celebrate the start of the Christmas season in community. And for the first time, we let it snow in the High School Plaza!
